West Epping In Action

Community Water Walk

On Sunday the 17th April, members of the West Epping Uniting Church walked approximately 4kms to gather water as an act of solidarity with our neighbours in developing countries who walk great distances everyday for the water they need to survive.

It is estimated that nearly 1 billion people don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. The water walk, which served as a culmination of the congregation's 40-day Lent Event experience, raised over $2000 for clean water projects in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific.

Lent Event at West Epping

Lent Event was established at West Epping Uniting Church in 2005.  Since then this God-inspired program has touched the lives of thousands, both in Australia and overseas.
